Characterization: Fine particle sized wax dispersion to improve the surface qualities 

Chemical Structure: Aqueous dispersion of a paraffin wax

Appearance: Milky, slightly yellowish liquid

pH-Value: 9.5 ± 0.5

Concentration: 50 % ± 1 

Ionic Character: Anionic

Melting Range: ~ 56 - 58 °C

Stabilities: ULTRALUBE® CT 3340 is sensitive to frost; after the impact of temperatures below the freezing point irreversible changes can occur. The containers must be protected from direct sun radiation and kept from temperatures higher than 30 °C.

Storage: In closed original containers at room temperature (approx. 23 °C) the product will be stable for at least 12 months.

Stir before use.

  • Increases the surface hydrophobicity and provides a good beading effect
  • Improves the early water resistance
  • Improves slip
  • Improves antiblocking

 

Application Fields

ULTRALUBE® CT 3340 is especially recommended for wood and industrial coatings.

 

Recommendation for Use

We generally recommend a dosage of 1.0 - 4.0 % ULTRALUBE® CT 3340 in aqueous coating systems related to the total formulation.

 

The optimal dosage has to be determined in pre-trials.

 

In aqueous coating systems the product is added during or at the end of the production process.
